What we do

Darq provides an understanding of technology that is rarely matched. For the last twenty years we've been playing with gadgets - computers, networks, phone systems, alarm clock radios - learning not only what makes them tick but also what doesn't. Our fearless curiosity has taught us to climb inside problems, develop unusual insights, and approach our challenges from a playful perspective. The result is both excellent judgement and deep intuition, two essential features of productive thinking. It's by seeing new situations as both similar and different to those we've handled before that we quickly build bespoke solutions from well understood components.

Here's some of our areas of expertise:

Consultancy, Networks, Security, OpenSource Software, Firewalls, Audits, Training, Backups, Support, 24/7 Help Desk, Maintenance, Remote Access, Hosting, eMail, Domain Handling, VPN's, Servers, Hardware, Anti-Virus, FreeBSD, Linux, Unix, Penetration Testing, Streaming, Automation, Monitoring, Offsite Backup, Windows, Apple Mac, Groupware, Web File Transfer

We're what you might call interstitial. We deal with technologies at the point where they meet, exposing ourselves to a wide range of paradigms, practices, protocols and conventions. It's this breadth of experience, and depth of repertoire, that enables us to address your requirements so precisely. We'll help you use technology in a way which works.

Sun Resellers
2008-01-07

Darq recently became a  Sun Reseller as part of our shift towards being more energy efficient. Sun equipment tends to use less power, so we're now able to sell Sun servers, storage and Sun Ray desktop replacements. We're investing heavily in Sun Ray Thin Clients, which use just 4.6 watts (compared to 90 watts for a Mac Mini). Give us a call to see a demo at our Old Street office
